Mildred Kee Cox, 86 of Concord, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 3, 2012 at CMC-NorthEast in Concord.

The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 from 6 until 8 pm.

At other times the family will meet at the home.

The funeral service will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel in Concord on Wednesday, September 4, 2012 at 11 am, with Rev. Rodney Quesenberry officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

Mildred was born on August 27, 1926 in Cabarrus County, to the late Charlie Bryant Kee and Cora Lizzie Lou Cranford Kee. She was also preceded in death by her husband William “Bill” Cox, son Billy William Cox and brothers Junior, Coleman, and Dan Kee.

She is survived by: sons, Frank Lee Cox of Charlotte and Bobby Ray Cox and his wife Leslie of Concord; grandson, Joseph Cox of Concord; sister, Donnie Kee Smith of Concord.
