Betty Mae Benson Webber, 88, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at Carolinas Medical Center – Northeast.

A memorial service, officiated by the Rev. Bob Davis, will be held at Hope United Methodist Church in Wellston, OH, on Saturday, September 8, 2012, at 1:00 p.m.

Betty was born in Ohio on November 23, 1923, to the late Louis Shawl Benson and the late Stella Benson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Louis Roy Walsh; and a sister, Lois Stottsberry.

She is survived by a daughter, Rhoda Robinette and husband, Paul of Midland; a son, Neil Daniel Walsh of Kyle, TX; a sister, Carlyn Ann Burke of Wellston, OH; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
