Karen Nash Archer, 55 of Concord, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at her home.

The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Sunday, September 9, 2012 from 12 until 2 pm. Services will follow in the chapel at 2 pm, with Pastor Leon Hawks officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

At other times the family will meet at the home 392 Faith Drive Concord.

Karen was born on June 27, 1957 in Mecklenburg County, to the late Wayne Calvin Nash, Sr and Joyce Ann Powers Nash.

Karen loved all children, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her beloved husband of seven years, Robert Blane “Bobby” Archer of the home; son, Marty Barnhardt and wife Melissa of Concord and Richard Barnhardt and his wife Melissa of Concord; brother, Wayne Calvin Nash, Jr. of Winston Salem; sisters, Debbie Knight of Weddington, Tangie Jones of Mt. Pleasant, and Delfrey Conner and husband Jeff of FL; grandchildren, Elizabeth Barnhardt, Trey Barnhardt, Rylee Page Barnhardt, Jaylin Mann, Conner and Zoe; step-daughter, Maegan Archer; numerous nieces and nephews.
