Robin Dean Basinger, 53, of Harrisburg, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2012, at Tucker Hospice House, following an extended illness.

The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord on Wednesday, September 26, 2012, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

A graveside service, officiated by Rev. Beau Hummel, will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Harrisburg at 1:30 p.m.

She is survived by her husband, Mike Basinger; and son, Jay Basinger of Harrisburg; her parents, Bobby Dean and Georgia Geraldine Clary and a sister, Joy Harris of Chesterfield, VA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Boy Scout Troop 173 at Harrisburg Presbyterian Church, 4815 North Carolina 49, Harrisburg, NC 28075.
